In the fall of 2002, Spearfish, the first artist on the new label Sweden
Rock Records, released the CD Affected by Time. It was well received by
the press and given air-time on the radio.
In the early part of 2003, Spearfish began recording a double CD, from
which all proceeds were to be donated to the Children's Cancer
Foundation. The title was "Back For The Future - With A Little Help
From Their Friends".
The 2-disk CD contains mostly cover songs but also a live recording,
made by Swedish Radio at the Sweden Rock Festival during the summer of
2003. “Back For the Future” includes guest artists, such as Paul Di'Anno
(Ex-Iron Maiden), Mick Box (Uriah Heep), Manny Charlton (Nazareth),
Stefan Elmgren (Hammerfall) and most of the members of Demon.
In June of 2004, Spearfish played at the Sweden Rock Festival for the
second year in a row. Also this time, Swedish Radio has recorded some of
the material.
Friendships were forged during the recording of “Back For The Future”,
and Spearfish has been asked by Mick Box to be the supporting act for
Uriah Heep on their Scandinavian Tour of 2004, during October 5-13.
Spearfish has recently changed recording company and Lion Music has recently released the new album “Area 605”
