Wishing to complete his inspirational
concept, Ian Parry has written & produced the final chapter
from his Consortium Project concept entitled C-V "Species".
"Species" is a culmination of brutal and melodic Symfo-gothic-power
metal at its best. A classic epic Sci-fi scenario combining
a selection of the best musicians in rock & metal and some
who have performed on the 4 previous consortium albums such
as; Stephan Lill (Vanden Plas) Casey Grillo (Kamelot) Kris
Gildenlöw (ex-Pain of Salvation) and Niels Vejlyt (Infinty
Overture) to newcomers from the gothic metal scene Jens
Faber (from the German power metal band Dawn of Destiny) and
Lene Peterson..
The worldwide release of C-V "Species" in 2011 will be the
21st album release from Ian Parry celebrating a career of
over 25 years in the world of rock & metal.
Consortium Project V - Species is already picking up rave
reviews:
"Species is the ultimate
combination of the strongest songs to date written by Ian
Parry, brought alive by commanding performances from some of
the best musical talent in today s rock/metal scene. These
qualities add up to make this final album the ultimate
Consortium Project release" (www.heavymetalcosmos.eu).
"Species delivers just what you'd expect from Ian Parry &
Co., so if you enjoy massive guitar riffs, soaring melodies,
symphonic keyboards, and Parry's leather lunged vocals,
there's a lot to enjoy here" (www.seaoftranquility.org)
"The songwriting and performances are all first class and
the album has an excitement about it from start to finish.
All of which adds up to make this essential listening" (www.virtuosityone.com)
"The most consistent and impressive set Parry has been
involved in since his Elegy days" (www.destinyrocks.com)
"Species can only be described as thoroughly powerful and
epic metal. Certainly a fitting conclusion to Ian Parry's
significant project" (www.dangerdog.com)
