Official Guitar Contest 2026
This contest is worldwide and open to all
players of all ages, genres and skills.
Your entry will be evaluated by:
Musicality
Technique
Originality
Phrasing
Please be aware that we will be looking for originality way more than
ability to shred fast, we believe the world does not need more Yngwie
clones for example.
How to take part:
The participant shall register by paying a registry fee of Euros 8.00
(this money will be spent promoting the contestants but will at no
terms be refunded) here below:

After payment has been received participant shall sign a simple
agreement (granting us the rights to the submitted maretial) which you
can download here:

After this the participant shall deliver to us (as soon as possble for
better visibility but no later than October 31, 2026) :
1. A photo and a short biography (just explaining who you are
musicially)
2. A never before published either solo appearance or a full song or
that shall be at least 45 seconds long but no longer that 3 minutes
(180 seconds) both as a video clip and audio (WAV or mp3).
This piece shall either be an original composition by the artist or a
public domain compostion. This is simply so we will not run into
unnecessary problems over publishing rights later.
3. A signed copy of the above mentioned agreement
Participant may not publish or have anyone else publish it's appearance
anywhere unless approved by Lion Music who shall publish all material
by all participants during the run of Guitar Master 2026 but no later
than October 31 2026.
The contest will be open from February 27 2026 to October 31 2026.
The winner who will be chosen by a group of industry professionals will
receive:
Besides from the publicitiy gained from your victory Lion Music will
offer a contract to release your next album and promote it at it's best
(you will be able to choose not to opt in for this.
